Is Vilitra 40 mg effective?

If you mean Vilitra 40 mg (vardenafil 40 mg) for erectile dysfunction: I would not recommend taking that dose. Vardenafil is effective for ED, but the usual starting dose is 10 mg, and the maximum recommended dose is 20 mg once per day. D DailyMed +1 40 mg is twice the recommended maximum, so it isn't simply a “stronger” or more effective version. Higher doses can increase adverse effects such as headache, flushing, dizziness, low blood pressure, and visual disturbances. Don't combine vardenafil with Viagra/sildenafil, Vilitra 40 mg , or other PDE-5 inhibitors, and never use it with nitrate medicines because of the risk of a dangerous blood-pressure drop. D DailyMed If an erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek emergency medical attention. D DailyMed If 20 mg isn't working well, taking 40 mg isn't the appropriate next step. A doctor can instead assess whether the timing, dose, underlying cause of ED, or a different medication would be better.
