Vidalista Professional contains tadalafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Research on tadalafil suggests that long-term use, when taken at the recommended dose and under medical supervision, is generally well tolerated. Studies of daily tadalafil for up to two years found no new major safety concerns and continued improvement in erectile function.

Possible long-term effects include:

Headache, indigestion, back or muscle pain, flushing, or nasal congestion.

A temporary drop in blood pressure, particularly when combined with blood-pressure medicines or alcohol.

Rare but serious problems such as prolonged erection (priapism), sudden vision changes, or sudden hearing loss.

Tadalafil is not known to cause physical dependence or permanent loss of erectile function.

However, Vidalista Professional may come in different strengths, and taking more than prescribed can increase risks. It should never be combined with nitrate medicines (such as nitroglycerin), because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure.
