Is Duratia 30 mg Recommended For Men With Thyroid Problems?
Duratia 30 mg contains dapoxetine, a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in adult men. Having a thyroid disorder does not automatically prevent someone from using Duratia, but thyroid conditions should be properly evaluated before starting treatment. Both an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) and an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) can contribute to sexual health problems, including changes in ejaculation, libido, and erectile function.
Men with well-controlled thyroid disease may be able to take Duratia 30 mg if their healthcare provider determines it is appropriate. However, those with untreated or poorly controlled thyroid disorders should first address the underlying thyroid condition, as improving thyroid hormone levels may help reduce sexual symptoms.
Before using Duratia, inform your healthcare provider about your thyroid diagnosis, current medications, and any history of heart disease, depression, or liver problems. Certain medications used to treat thyroid disorders or other health conditions may interact with dapoxetine or increase the risk of side effects such as dizziness, nausea, headache, or fainting.
Always take Duratia 30 mg exactly as prescribed and avoid exceeding the recommended dose. A healthcare provider can determine whether the medication is suitable for your individual health status and recommend the safest treatment plan for premature ejaculation.
