Zhewitra 20 Mg contains vardenafil, a PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction. While many men with stable heart disease can use it under medical supervision, some people with heart conditions should avoid Zhewitra 20 Mg because it may cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure or increase cardiovascular risk during sexual activity. People who should avoid or not use Zhewitra 20 Mg include: Those taking nitrate medications such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, or isosorbide mononitrate for chest pain (angina). Combining vardenafil with nitrates can cause a severe, potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure. People whose doctor has advised them not to Zhewitra 20 Mg in sexual activity because of unstable or severe cardiovascular disease. Individuals with unstable angina, uncontrolled heart failure, or a recent heart attack, stroke, or serious heart rhythm disorder until cleared by their cardiologist. Patients with very low blood pressure (hypotension) or uncontrolled high blood pressure should use vardenafil only after medical evaluation. People with congenital long QT syndrome or those taking certain antiarrhythmic medications (such as quinidine, procainamide, amiodarone, or sotalol), because vardenafil may affect heart rhythm. Before starting Zhewitra 20 Mg, tell your healthcare provider about all heart conditions and medications you take, especially nitrates, alpha-blockers, or blood pressure medicines. If you develop chest pain, dizziness, fainting, or shortness of breath after taking the medication, seek emergency medical care immediately.
