Does Filitra affect blood pressure?
Filitra can affect blood pressure, but usually in a mild and temporary way. Its active ingredient, Vardenafil, works similarly to other ED medications by relaxing blood vessels. How it affects blood pressure It causes vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) This can lead to a small drop in blood pressure In most healthy people, this drop is not dangerous When it can be risky The blood pressure drop can become significant if you: Take Filitra medications (for chest pain) Use alpha-blockers or multiple BP medicines Drink alcohol at the same time Already have low blood pressure In these cases, it may cause: Dizziness Lightheadedness Fainting Important note Unlike some heart medications, Filitra is not meant to treat blood pressure—its effect on BP is just a side effect of how it works. Bottom line Yes, it lowers blood pressure slightly Usually safe for healthy individuals Can be dangerous if combined with certain drugs or conditions If you’re taking BP meds or have any heart condition, tell me which ones—you’ll get a much more precise answer about whether Filitra is safe in your specific case.
